Latin American dances consist of the following five dances:
Cha cha, Rumba, Samba, Paso Doble and Jive.
Latin dances are generally faster-paced, more sensual, and have more rhythmic expression. The timing is 4/4 straight rhythm or related. Music may be Latin American traditional or contemporary popular music. If you decide to start dancing and compete, this style is for you.
The competation medal categories are:
Pre-Bronze, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Pre-Championship and Championship. Be ready to take a part in different competations in Canada, the USA or Europe.
