Our students are of all ages and different levels of dance experience.
Our extensive experience gives beginners to advanced dancers the opportunity to succeed in reaching their goals and enjoy the adventure and romance of dancing.
Enjoy the experience of learning the: cha-cha, rumba, samba, jive, waltz, foxtrot, tango, quick step, Argentine tango, salsa, Kizomba and bachata in both private and group classes.
At Chance Dance Centre you will find professional dance instructors with extensive experience in competitive Ballroom and Latin dancing (The coaches of the USA Champion- Alexander Senko, 2004 US National Champion, 10 Dances and Canadian Champion Professional dancer and instructor of Dance with us Ottawa - Yuriy Shelkovyy)

Our Mission
Chance Dance Centre offers you a full spectrum of Ballroom and Latin dance training in competitive and social styles for students of all ages. Classes are available in both group and private lessons for beginner, intermediate and competitive dancers.
- 1. Ballroom and Latin dancing will improve your health, tone muscle, improve flexibility and help you develop confidence on and off the dance floor.
- 2. Whether you are preparing for a special event such as your wedding, a competition or just taking your first step onto the dance floor, Chance Dance Centre is a great place to meet new friends, redefine yourself and fall in love with dance.
- 3. Operating as the first dance studio in Canada to offer classes for students in wheelchairs, Chance Dance Centre wants to make sure that all people are able to experience the joy of dance. After all, "dancing is dancing, whether you are standing or sitting, rhythm and music are from inside the body and the mind"!.

Meet The Owner
Sergey Muretov is recognized for his unique teaching ability, creativity and high level of professionalism. The following describes his dance experience:
• Former professional competitor (S-class) and Latin and Ballroom Dance Champion
• Opened the Faculty of Dance at the University in Ukraine; professor status.
• Winner of official dance championships and the highest S- class dancer
• Conducted dance workshops and seminars across Europe.
• Taught ballroom dancing in Poland (Wroclaw University Dance team, Opole’s dance club) and Sweden (Sundsvall Dance Team).
• Judged in many international competitions.
• Organized wheelchair dances. • Represented the Ukraine on the first Europe Wheelchair Dance Championship in Sweden.
• Taught several thousand students during his training carrier including USA Champion (Alexander Senko, 2004 US National Champion, 10 Dances and Yuriy Shelkoviy - Canadian Champion, Dance with us Ottawa.

Group classes are a fun and social way to learn how to ballroom dance. You do not need a partner to attend any of our group classes.
Private Lessons
Private dance lessons give you a unique experience and the benefit of individual attention from an instructor. You choose the dance(s) you want to learn and we tailor the lessons to suit your needs and interests.
Salsa and Bachata classes
Do you love to dance? Do you like to sway those hips and move to the beat? Let’s start your Salsa $ Bachata steps with us. Beginning with basic step patterns and technique leading and following , lessons progress through more advanced skills such as partner turns, syncopations, styling...

Wedding dance classes
We will teach you to dance with confidence even if you've never danced a step in your life! In just a few of lessons we will teach you all the steps you and your partner need to know to make the best of your special day.
Wheelchair dance classes
Ballroom and Latin Wheelchair Dancing can be used as a physical education curriculum for students with disabilities. It removes the isolation that many other activities create since it requires a mix of these students with able bodied partners.

Our goal is to make sure that you not only mesmerize your audience with an unforgettable dance routine, but also enjoy every moment of your first dance without worrying about getting the steps right.
